Bible Verse Quotes on Savings

Financial Security in Savings

Financial security in savings is having a restful mind over money matters by storing a good sum. It is the assurance that your needs will be met because you have enough stored away. According to the world view, financial security means having enough savings and being debt-free. The world view contrasts the biblical Christian view. Why do you worry about savings and debts when you own a “bank” that never liquidates. Why do you need to save much when you have an ever present help, a true friend, and Father.

You worry because you do not have the “bank”. You worry because you do not have the ever present help by your side. You worry because you do not trust He will be there when you need Him. You fear He will not be by your side because you do not obey Him. The Lord Jesus encourages giving and not storing up.

Inspiring bible verse quotes about savings:

Hebrews 13:5 Bible verse: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Mathew 6:19-20 Bible verse: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Mathew 6:25-26, 32-33 Bible verse: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Luke 6:30 Bible verse: Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Luke 6:38 Bible verse: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
