The major Protestant denominational church families are:
Adventists
Baptists

Methodists
Pentecostals
Presbyterians

Can man find God in the local church denominations?

Man keeps looking for God in the local church denominations.

Man forgets how God desires to be worshiped. Man forgets how and where God makes Himself found.

…the hour is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
…Yet the time is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Indeed, the Father is looking for people like that to worship him.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:21,23,24 Bible Verse).

The words of Jesus Christ states clearly that man will not find God in any temple or building. Man will find Him in Spirit. We can worship God in truth and spirit only when we can identify and know the spirit of falsehood and the evil practices and doctrines in a church.
