Reason Why Many Christians Will Not Enter the Kingdom of Heaven

“In the last days, many will be deceived, and if it were possible, even the elect”.

These are the warnings of Jesus Christ to Christians and the Church in the last days.

Are we in these times, the last days? What are the signs of the last days? There are so many churches, many preachers, and the “gospel” is spreading like wild fire. For many to be deceived, many will have to hear the wrong gospel. For multitudes to fall away, the wrong seed must be planted in the hearts of many. Only a few, the elect, will survive these times. Do you think the “few” would mean the 279 million Pentecostals or 1.2 billion Catholics in the world? Obviously, the answer is “NO”.

Why are these times dangerous? Why is the wrong gospel so potentially strong to yield such massive destructive results? This is because the enemy now appears as an angel of light. The enemy now stands behind the pulpit of churches. The enemy has chosen to take a subtle deceitful form (harmless, humble, righteous look), but inward it is ravaging snake.

How does the enemy succeed? The enemy succeeds because of the cravings of the fallen flesh of man. A craving for wealth, comfort, unconditional grace, success, + the promise of Heaven. The human flesh can’t resist such an offer.

Do you think the devil (the wisest of all created animals) will sit back and just watch you win the salvation of Christ and stroll to Heaven? The devil is wiser than you think, but the LORD is the Wisest.

Which gospel do you believe in? Only those who are ready to accept and keep the uncompromised gospel as it was preached by the LORD and the apostles, will overcome the evil one. If you have a divided heart, a double eye, and you make excuses for self-pleasure, then you are the devil’s candidate. The servants of Satan are sowing the distorted gospel over the whole earth. Please read this parable of the kingdom of Heaven in Mathew 13:24-30 (the wicked servants sow tares in the Lord’s field). It is no joke.

Many Christians will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven because they are not following Jesus. They do not follow Jesus because they have rejected the gospel of carrying the cross of total renunciation and Self-denial to follow Jesus. They have embraced a strange gospel of wealth, comfort, and success that comes with the promise of the heavenly kingdom. Foolish Christians! blinded by greed and love for self.

The True Gospel of ChristComment
Mat 6:19-21
“Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.
But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal, because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also
(Bible Verse)
Do not store earthly wealth means do not store earthly wealth. Period. No excuses. This is not a call to poverty, rather it is call to simplicity. You can not have plenty money in the bank and then try to set your heart on God. If your treasure is in the bank, then your heart is in the bank, for where your treasure is, there your heart is also.
Mat 6:24
“No one can serve two masters, because either he will hate one and love the other, or be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and riches!”
(Bible Verse)
You can not have God and money. If you have money, then you cannot have God.
Mat 13:44
“The kingdom from heaven is like treasure hidden in a field that a man found and hid. In his excitement he went and sold everything he had and bought that field.”
(Bible Verse)
Entrance to the kingdom of Heaven demands total renunciation.
Mat 19:16
Just then a man came up to Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what good deed should I do to have eternal life?”
Jesus asked him, “Why ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you want to get into that life, you must keep the commandments.”
The young man asked him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You must not murder, you must not commit adultery, you must not steal, you must not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘you must love your neighbor as yourself.'”
The young man told him, “I have kept all of these. What do I still lack?”
Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell what you own and give the money to the destitute, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come back and follow me
(Bible Verse).
If you obey the 10 commandments and live a righteous life but you have not given up your possessions, you cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven.
If a rich man does not give away his wealth, he can qualify to enter God’s earthly kingdom (NOT Kingdom of Heaven) if he is generous to the needy, but he cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven without giving up his wealth.

 Luke 2:33
“Sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves wallets that don’t wear out—a dependable treasure in heaven, where no thief can get close and no moth can destroy anything (Bible Verse).
Selling your wealth is a primary condition for gaining a place in Heaven
Mat 19:23
Then Jesus told his disciples, “I tell you with certainty, it will be hard for a rich person to get into the kingdom from heaven (Bible Verse).
No rich man can enter the kingdom of heaven. If a rich man wants to enter, he must first give up all his wealth (condition that sickens the heart of many. So, they rather call it untrue).
Luke 14:33
In the same way, none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up all his possessions.”
(Bible Verse)
Discipleship starts at the gate of self-denial and total renunciation.
Acts 2:45
They made it their practice to sell their possessions and goods and to distribute the proceeds to anyone who was in need (Bible Verse).
Acts 4:32
Now all the believers were one in heart and soul, and nobody called any of his possessions his own. Instead, they shared everything they owned
(Bible Verse).
The way of the cross was practiced before and after the departure of Jesus Christ. The early church continued to give away their wealth to the poor.
Mat 16:24
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone wants to follow me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross, and follow me continually
(Bible Verse).
The LORD Jesus makes it clear that only those who deny self can follow Him.
Luke 19:8-9
Later, Zacchaeus stood up and announced to the Lord, “Lord, I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor. I’ll pay four times as much as I owe if I have cheated anyone in any way.”
Then Jesus told him, “Today salvation has come to this home
(Bible Verse).
Zacchaeus was one of the few rich men who were able to pass through the needle’s eye because he gave his wealth to the poor.
Luke 12:13 -15
Then someone in the crowd told him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.”
But Jesus asked him, “Mister, who appointed me to be a judge or arbitrator over you people?”
Then he told them, “Be careful to guard yourselves against every kind of greed, because a person’s life doesn’t consist of the amount of possessions he has.”
(Bible Verse).
If fighting over legitimate property is greed, so too is the desire for plenty (wealth) and storing of wealth.
Luke 6:24
“But how terrible it will be for you who are rich, because you have had your comfort!
(Bible Verse).
The rich man cannot have the comfort of the Kingdom of Heaven
Mat 19:27
“Look!” Peter replied. “We have left everything and followed you. So what will we get?”
(Bible Verse)
The disciples had embraced total renunciation
Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has anointed me to tell the good news to the poor
(Bible Verse)
The good news is primarily meant for the poor because they can easily receive it but the rich man stumbles
Jas 2:5
Listen, my dear brothers! God has chosen the poor in the world to become rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who keep on loving him, has he not?
(Bible Verse)
The poor are blessed because theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. They are the chosen ones for the inheritance.
Rom 8:6
To focus our minds on the human nature leads to death, but to focus our minds on the Spirit leads to life and peace
(Bible Verse).
Carnal pursuits and all its comfort only lead to death.
Bible Lesson: Warnings of Jesus - Many Christians will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven
Bible Lesson: Warnings of Jesus – Many Christians will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven

The Kingdom of Heaven will rule God’s earthly kingdom. The true followers of Jesus are the Heavenly Kingdom. The followers of Jesus Christ are those who carry the cross of total renunciation and self-denial daily and follow Him. On repentance, a person qualifies to belong to God’s earthly kingdom, but repentance is not enough to qualify him for the kingdom of Heaven.

John the Baptist preached baptism of repentance to prepare the hearts of the people for Jesus. Repentance is the first requirement for God’s heavenly Kingdom, but it is not the only requirement. Before total renunciation, there must first be repentance. The rich young ruler had repented. He did obey the scriptures, but he lacked one more thing to qualify for the Kingdom of Heaven, TOTAL RENUNCIATION & SELF-DENIAL.

The disciples left all to follow the LORD Jesus. The call to the disciples, the call to the rich young ruler, is a call to all who believe in the name of the LORD Jesus. Repentance from sins alone will not get you to the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Way to the Kingdom of Heaven is the cross – The cross of total renunciation and the daily cross of self-denial following Jesus.

Do not try to apply another meaning to the words of Jesus Christ. The words of Jesus Christ are plain and clear for all to understand.

Beware of popular Bible preachers. They preach sweet things, but their words are leading you away from the kingdom of Heaven. Their false teachings have gone far worldwide, but it does not mean it is the right gospel. Rather, it is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy of the great apostasy (multitudes falling away from the faith through a terrible deceit). Why are men deceived? Because they loved not the truth.

Seek the LORD in all earnest. Only Him can save the elect.

The Wrong Gospel

It is God’s will for you to be materially rich. All you need is just believe (no sacrifices), repent and you will enter the kingdom of Heaven. No need of confessing sins after repentance. His grace has covered it all. God wants you successful, rich, in power, with long life. You will enter Heaven rich as Abraham, not as poor Lazarus. Once saved, always saved even if you return to evil works.

Free Christian Book, "The Way to Kingdom of Heaven: How to cross the narrow gate to Heaven"

The gate to the Kingdom of Heaven is narrow and there are few that find it. The way to the Kingdom of Heaven is hard, and there are few that walk in it. Beware of Bible Preachers who tell you, “the gate is wide, and the road is easy”. The early church passed through this narrow gate and walked on this hard road before and after the departure of Christ. Till Christ returns, the gates remain open. Repentance is mandatory but not enough to get you through the narrow gate. Find out why. Find out how.

  1. Hello Sister thank you for this post and exhortation. Lord help me to renounce all earthly possessions and simplify my life and give my family this desire to line up with your word. One thing that was confusing was that your teaching the kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God are different? They appear to be used interchangeably in many overlapping parables throughout the gospel. Got questions gave many examples of this. Do you have a different blog showing scripture
to explain your viewpoint on this? God bless you! https://www.gotquestions.org/kingdom-heaven-God.html

    1. Thank you for your feedback. I pray that the LORD will keep you from falling.
Regarding your question on, “kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God”, I did not use these words separately. I spoke of, “the kingdom of Heaven and God’s earthly Kingdom”.
It is simple to understand. In a kingdom, there is the government and there are the people. In God’s kingdom, there is the heavenly kingdom (His government) and the earthly Kingdom (his people). The government and the people are all his people (His kingdom) but they are in different places of responsibility and authority.
When Christ returns, there is going to be the first resurrection of saints to rule the earth with Him for 1000 years and, for eternity after the last judgement and second resurrection (Rev 20:4).
The kingdom of heaven is a line of priests and Kings in service to God ( Rev 2:5-6) and (Rev 5:10).

  2. How right. Most Christians in the western world follow the “I’m entitled ” teachings. The simple reason, if they don’t their way of life is a joke

  3. I thought that the only way to get to heaven is to accept Jesus as our Savior by confessing our sins and following Him, and that our works were like filthy rags. Wouldn’t selling all your possessions, as referenced in Luke 2:33, count as works? And how would you know how much to sell? If we truly did that entirely, one would be naked and homeless. I have never seen anyone like that. If we followed this philosophy, how would we know when enough is enough? How could any be saved?

    1. Yes, believing and accepting Jesus is the first condition to enter Heaven, but it is not the only condition. Another condition which is not preached today is the cross of self-denial ( I have enumerated several scriptures in the post to proof this). These are not my words. These are the words of Christ. Disciples of Christ by giving up their all, embrace simplicity, not poverty. The Lord provides for them their basic needs ( not excesses). This is the only way to free our hearts from the earth, and set it permanently on Heaven.
If you believe in the Lord and you have refrained from sins, you will qualify for His earthly Kingdom , but you will not qualify His Heavenly kingdom except you give up your all for Him.
The kingdom of Heaven is for those whose lives totally reflect the example of Jesus, the early disciples and the early church.
