Love and Submission in a Christian Marriage

What is a Christian marriage?

A man and a woman become one flesh by the bond of marriage (Math 19.5-6). Once married, the man is the husband and the woman, the wife. Marriage must be between one man and one woman (Gen 2.20-25). Marriage must not be between people of the same blood (Lev 18). The marriage bed must not be defiled (Mat 5.27-28). The marriage must not be dissolved except for sexual immorality or illegitimate marriages (Mat 5.32). The primary purpose of marriage is raising a family unto the glory of God. Signs of False Prophets and False Teachers in Church

“Now there were false prophets among the people, just as there also will be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many people will follow their immoral ways, and because of them the way of truth will be maligned. In their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. The ancient verdict against them is still in force, and their destruction is not delayed” (2 Pete 2.1-3).

From the above Bible verses, we understand that false teachers are not going to come out from the world, rather, they shall rise from among the camp of the righteous (the church).

Simple And Practical Ways To Express Love To Others.

Be careful how you deal with people.

Do not say, “why should I care about them, it is their trouble”.

You see, God will judge us not by how many children or jobs or certificate we had. He will judge us by how we treated other people: our neighbor, our colleague, our children, our wives, our husbands, our children, our fathers, our enemies, our siblings. How do you love others? How do you show God’s love to others?. Continue reading “Simple And Practical Ways To Express Love To Others.”

One Reason Why You Must Fear the LORD God

Fear God Because His Punishment Is Dreadful

When wickedness grew on the earth, the LORD God sent a flood and destroyed all humans except Noah and his family. Think of the babies, the pregnant women, the beautiful women and the strong men who perished in the flood. None was shown mercy. Fear God.

When the sin of Sodom & Gomorrah grew, the LORD God sent fire from heaven and burnt to ashes the entire city. None was spared except Lot and his family. They were eating, drinking, and marrying when the fire came and devoured them. Fear God.

The Canaanites and many other fine cities were placed under the curse of destruction. The princes, fine men and women were slaughtered. The fattest of rams, the babies, were burnt. None was shown mercy. Fear God.

The LORD God stroke Egypt with terrible ills and killed the first born sons of the entire Egypt, from the house of Pharaoh to the house of the slave, except the Israelites. He drowned the whole army of Egypt in the red sea. Fear God.

The LORD God disciplined the people of Israel (His people) with horrifying rods: the rod of famine, the rod of slavery, the rod of plagues, the rod of war. Fear God.

FEAR the LORD God of Heaven. Fear God and live.

Yes, God abounds in merciful love, but He is very dreadful and terrible in his wrath and punishment. God’s punishment is no resemblance to human way of punishment. God is not man, so He does not punish like a man. Who will escape the tribunal of the Most High? No one! It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
